Women in the Wild
Join us for an experience that’s all about the birds! A a live raptor presentation will be presented by County Parks rangers, followed by an interactive beginning birders’ hike led by a Nature Collective board member.
Women in the Wild is an experience designed to teach essential outdoor skills in a fun, nurturing and non-competitive environment. Experiences are educational and interactive – building confidence and community while fostering new appreciation for our region’s parks, preserves and diverse recreational opportunities.
Our mission is to encourage women to spend more time in nature through education, training and experiences that empower (you) to make outdoor recreation a way of life. This is in line with the County’s Live Well vision to promote a healthy, safe and thriving San Diego community. Our Vision is to bring women closer to nature, and to each other, through recreation, collaboration and accomplishment
Activities are planned for women, by women (female staff members and partners). Spots are limited to 25 participants.
