giant reed removal

Volunteer Event | November 12

Want to make a real difference for our local environment? Join us for a habitat restoration event. This isn’t a walk in the park—it’s physical work. But it’s also incredibly rewarding. You’ll be directly helping to restore native habitats, making a lasting impact on our ecosystem. Invasive plants choke out the native species that our local wildlife depends on. By removing them, we’re giving our native trees, flowers, and animals a fighting chance to thrive.

Here’s what you’ll be doing:

*Pulling and removing invasive Arundo (Giant Reed)
*Working alongside a dedicated team of staff and volunteers who share your passion for conservation.
*Getting a great workout and spending time outdoors.

Every hour you contribute makes a visible difference. We’ll provide all the necessary tools and guidance—you just need to bring your energy, a water bottle, and a can-do attitude.

Ready to get your hands dirty for a good cause? Sign up below to volunteer.
