Wildlife Tour | August 10

During the summer, the San Elijo landscape may not appear as vibrant as other periods, leading many to perceive the visible flora as lifeless. However, these plants are alive and serve as crucial habitats for numerous animal species. These habitats are home to resilient and adaptable species that have evolved to withstand harsh conditions, such as intense sunlight and water scarcity. It’s truly remarkable to consider the diversity and adaptations of these species. Join us for this hike along one of San Elijo’s coolest summertime trails to learn more.

Weather permitting. Wildlife is unpredictable. There is no guarantee of what you will see.

Volunteers Elizabeth Venrick + Mark Jenne will lead your nature experience.
