Wildlife Tour | May 11

  • Saturday, May 11, 2024
  • 2 Hours

Are you a fan of sun and sand? Come to Cardiff’s Living Shoreline to explore the restored dunes that protect the Coast Highway from ocean storms. However, the dunes are not just a sandy barrier but a haven for several endangered species. How does anything survive in a parched habitat often too hot for bare feet – a habitat constantly being attacked and washed out to sea by ocean waves? Join us for a beach day with a side of environmental intrigue.

Weather permitting. Wildlife is unpredictable. There is no guarantee of what you will see.

Volunteers Elizabeth Venrick + Mark Jenne will lead your nature experience.
