Movie Screening
Movie Screening “The Little Things” | Aug 1
Join Nature Collective at a movie screening of award winning documentary The Little Things that Run the World, hosted by the Solana Beach Eco Rotary Club. The film combines stunning macro photography with scientific insights to reveal how these tiny creatures act as the “glue of life,” holding ecosystems together and enabling biodiversity.
After the screening an expert panel featuring Kristin Evans, a leading voice in environmental education and the Sr. Education & Outreach Director at Nature Collective will share key insights from our exciting Native Plant Pollinator Garden program, a model initiative that bridges the gap between suburban development and ecological resilience.
Kristin will demonstrate how Nature Collective successfully integrates complex STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art & Math) concepts with real-world conservation. Learn how these intentional green spaces are simultaneously boosting student well-being and creating critical migratory pocket corridors for wildlife across North San Diego County. Don’t miss this opportunity to learn from a regional leader at the forefront of community-driven conservation.
